Motion tracking spotlight control platform.
Moving lights, including motion tracking spotlights, can be placed where the lighting designers desire instead of being limited to following spots located inside the building.
We can set up two to eight motion tracking spotlights to track performers, ensuring even lighting coverage. This setup allows the key, fill, and back lights to be maintained automatically without needing input from the followspot operator.
The system employs a very tactile approach to using Pan & Tilt functions in a natural and organic manner, enhancing the motion tracking spotlight capabilities. This results in reduced training time and increased uptime for the show.
Followspot operators do not need to be positioned on high scaffolding or in tight, cramped lighting spots. Instead, they should safely operate from the AC filter tech booth, where they can effectively use a motion tracking spotlight for everyone's safety and enjoyment.
Since we're using any moving light as the followspot, lighting designers can choose any lights they believe are best for this purpose, including motion tracking spotlights. This ensures they use fixtures with the same color temperature and similar movements as all the other lights.
Removing the large, bulky follow spots and replacing them with motion tracking spotlights reduces power consumption, frees up truck space, and cuts labor costs across the production line. This change can significantly impact overall production by lowering labor needs.
